Reconciliation Australia recently conducted a workshop in Canberra with a view to planning the steps ahead to 1967; in that year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the referendum which gave the Indigenous people the right to vote in our Federal elections. The workshop lasted two days and was attended by 200 participants of whom 45% were Indigenous.
